The city has two distinct parts, Old Delhi and New Delhi. Old Delhi is centered on the Red Fort built by Emperor Shah Jehan between 1636 and 1658 AD and the streets of Old Delhi are narrow and bustling. The beauty and serenity lie inside the courts of the main buildings. Delhi also has some of the finest museums in the country. Its boutiques and shopping arcades offer access to a wealth of traditional and contemporary crafts, from all over the country. New Delhi was proclaimed the capital of India by the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869-1944), and is tree-lined and spacious.

On arrival at New Delhi airport/railway Station, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your chosen hotel. Rest of the day is free for relaxation.

After Breakfast this morning proceed for your sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. 

Visit the Jamma Mosque one the largest in India and constructed of alternating vertical strips of red sand stone and white marble.

Drive through the colourful shopping bazaar known as the Chandni Chowk.  Next head over to the Red Fort built by builder of Taj Mahal – Shahjahan, and famous for its delicately carved inlaid and marbled royal chambers. We move forward now towards Raj Ghat where father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Lastly we stop over at the Gandhi Memorial Museum (closed on Mondays), which has fascinating items and documents related to Gandhi's life.

After lunch we head out again to complete our sightseeing of New Delhi

We start with a visit of the Humayun's Tomb built in the mid - 16th century by Haji Begum, wife of Humayun, the `second’ Moghul Emperor and is an early example of Moghul architecture. Later drive pass by the Safdarjung’s Tomb built in 1753 AD by the Nawab of Oudh for his father Safdarjung.  Next we visit India Gate (1921¬) a 42 meters high stone arch of triumph stands at the eastern stand of the Rajpath and bears the name of 90,000 Indian army soldiers who died in the campaigns of WWI. 

The next stop on the tour is the  Qutab Minar a soaring tower of victory which was started in 1193 immediately after the defeat of the last Hindu kingdom in Delhi and is 72 meters high and one of the most perfect towers in the world. Nearby stands the Iron Pillar which does not rust and has stood the vagaries of weather for 1500 years. 

Post Sightseeing, free time for shopping at Connaught place with the car at your disposal.

Early breakfast will be provided at the hotel’s café shop. After check-out from the hotel you will be transferred from Delhi to Agra by road.

Arrival at Agra and check into your Hotel. Later in evening around 1500 Hrs, Visit the Agra Fort built by the Great Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. This fort is a masterpiece of design and construction. Within the fort are a number of exquisite buildings, including Moti Masjid (Pearl Mosque) – A marble mosque surrounded by arcaded cloisters. We also visit the Diwane-E-Am and The Diwane-E-Khas - its walls and palaces are silent witnesses to the rise and fall of the Imperial Moghul Empire.

Later time for shopping at the local market for  Marble Artifacts and  leather products.  Should you wish to sample local specialities we recommend the  Petha and Balushahi  from Gopal Das Pethe wala.

Early morning visit to The Taj Mahal @ 06:30 Hrs. (closed on Fridays): Situated on the Banks of Yamuna River is the city of Agra, which is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World - The Taj Mahal. This monument of white marble was built in the year 1632 by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan for his queen Mumtaz Mahal and today is a universal symbol of love. 

After touring the Taj Mahal we head back to the hotel for a relaxed breakfast check. Later check out and drive to Jaipur. En route, you can visit the Abhaneri Step well, also known as Chand Baori, named after a local ruler called Raja Chanda along with the nearby Galta Temple, which is also known as the Monkey Temple.

Arrive at Jaipur and check -in into hotel. Evening at leisure to explore the surroundings or relax at the hotel.

Jaipur - The Rose Pink City founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II (1693-1743), is the capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur is surrounded on all sides by rugged hills, crowned with forts and enclosed by embattled walls.

After breakfast at Hotel we proceed for an excursion to climb up to the fortress at Amber fort seated on an Elephant Back. The settlement at Amber was founded by Raja Alan Singh, a ruler from the Chanda clan of Meena in 967 CE. The Amber Fort, as it stands now, was erected over the remnants of this earlier structure during the reign of Raja Man Singh, the Kachwaha King of Amber

Afternoon proceed for the tour of Jaipur city. Visit the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory, which was built in 1700's, and even today looks futuristic or almost surrealistic.Also visit the City Palace and its museum followed by the Hawa Mahal - Palace of Winds.

Rest of the day is free for shopping in local market with the car at your disposal.

With a bagful of shopping, you will be transferred back to hotel and rest of the evening is free. 

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel Café and completion of the check-out formalities, you will be transferred to Jaipur International Airport for your onward flight. (B)
